Our Services
Euthanasia comes from the greek words for good (eu) and death (thanatos). When the time has come to let your angel rest, it is never an easy decision. Angel Wings allows for you to give your pet a "good death" at home, a favorite park, or even on the Beach.*

Each personalized euthanasia appointment includes:
-
A compassionate and kind veterinarian will arrive to greet your pet and meet your family while answering any questions you may have about the process.
-
Your pet will then be given a small injection, under the skin, which acts as a pain reliever, an anxiolytic, and a sedative.
-
Once the doctor has confirmed adequate sedation, a paw print will be made (if accepted) and the pet will be prepared for their final injection. If the pet still has sensation at this point, more time and/or sedation may be given.
-
Euthanasia solution, a "good death" is administered.
-
Pet's name and the date of passing is written into our resources booklet, which has information about pet loss and grief, and can be used as a death certificate.
-
Pet is gently transported to the veterinarian's vehicle if aftercare services were arranged through Angel Wings.**
* Beach services and certain locations away from the home can include additional fees for travel and/or parking.

**Aftercare for the pet remains can also be organized through us for an additional fee. These include private cremations where the pet's ashes are returned to the owner in a beautiful wooden box, with name plaque, or communal cremation, where the pet is cremated with other furry (or feathered) friends, and set out to rest at sea.
